You were invited because we trust you. Here's everything you need to know to get going in under 5 minutes.

What is PetCareScore?

PetCareScore is a pet care tracking app that measures how consistently your pet's care is maintained across five essential care domains: Preventive Care, Veterinary Care, Medication Compliance, Nutrition & Feeding, and Hygiene & Activity.

Think of it like a fitness tracker, but for your pet's care consistency. It is not a medical or diagnostic tool, and the score does not measure your pet's health or judge you as a pet parent. It helps you organize care, recognize what is being maintained consistently, and identify areas that may need attention.

The goal is simple: make it easier to understand how consistently your pet's care is being maintained, what needs attention, and what you should do next.

How to get started

Six steps. Takes about 5 minutes.

Sign up

Go to app.petcarescore.com and create your account using the email you were invited with. That's it — no credit card needed.

Add your pet

Enter your pet's name, species, breed, and birthday. You can add a photo too. If you have multiple pets, you can add them all.

Take the Pet Care Quiz

The quiz takes about 45 seconds. It asks 10 questions about your pet's current care across the 5 score domains. Your answers set the starting baseline score — so be honest, not optimistic.

Set up Care Routines

Add the routines that apply to your pet — feeding schedule, medications, grooming, walks, vet follow-ups, etc. These are the tasks that drive the score. The more complete your routines, the more useful the score.

Log care daily

Check off routines as you complete them, add journal notes when something's worth noting, and log weight entries over time. Consistency here is what moves the score.

Check your score

Head to the Dashboard to see your pet's overall score and the 5-domain breakdown. You'll see what's on track, what's overdue, and what needs attention.

Shared Access — Invite a co-parent or caregiver to help log care. All actions are attributed.
