Pet Care Score is a structured measure of how consistently your pet's care is being maintained over time. It is built on the care activity you log — not your pet's health outcomes or medical history.

The core principle: consistency is measurable

Pet care is not a single event — it is a pattern of behavior over time. Feeding, medication, grooming, vet check-ups, and health monitoring all contribute to how well a pet is being cared for.

Pet Care Score measures that pattern. When care is logged consistently, the score reflects that. When routines are missed or care becomes irregular, the score reflects that too. The goal is not a perfect 100 — it is visibility into how consistent care has been over time.

What affects your Pet Care Score

Completing care routines on time
Each completed routine updates the score in the mapped care domain. Consistent completion builds a stronger score over time.

Logging medication on schedule
Medication compliance is one of the most weighted factors. Logging medications consistently has a meaningful positive effect.

Logging vet visits and medical records
Recording veterinary care events and uploading documents contributes to your Veterinary Care domain score.

Running weekly health checks
Completing structured weekly health check-ins contributes to your Preventive Care and overall care consistency.

Missed or overdue routines
Routines that go significantly overdue — especially preventive milestones like vaccinations — are reflected as gaps in the relevant domain score.

Prolonged inactivity
If no care activity is logged for an extended period, scores in the most activity-dependent domains may gradually reflect that gap.

Score ranges and what they mean

These ranges give you a general sense of care consistency. The goal is progress, not a perfect 100.

90–100
Excellent
Care routines, records, and habits are being maintained consistently across all five domains.
75–89
Very Good / Good
Strong care consistency with only minor gaps. Small improvements can push this higher over time.
60–74
Fair
Care activity is happening but not consistently enough across key domains. Worth reviewing your routines.
45–59
Needs Attention
Several care areas need more consistent attention. Review your routines and identify gaps.
0–44
Critical
Significant care gaps across multiple domains. This is a signal to build more consistent habits — not a judgment.
